The AORA Annual Conference is well established as the principal conference in Australia for the recycled organics industry and will take place 7-9 June in Melbourne.
Gaia Business Development Manager Luke Brennan has been selected as a speaker. His presentation titled ” Localised Organics Treatment – the benefits of local AD in regional areas” will take place at 11:00 on Friday the 9th of June.
Luke will present on the benefits of a localised and distributed approach that utilises existing organic waste streams to generate renewable green gas for use in ‘behind the meter’ industrial applications. The approach of using a distributed system of small and mid-scale anaerobic digestion technology can provide local agricultural and food manufacturing businesses a viable option for off-setting their energy costs, whilst also reducing the costs associated with disposing or managing their organic waste. streams.
This localised approach also provides opportunities for collaboration across communities in the establishment of ‘bioenergy hubs’ that can contribute to diversifying the renewable energy mix throughout regional and rural Australia throughout utilised the vast supply of organic material available.
Make sure to contact us if you would like to set up a meeting during the conference. Should be a great event. We hope to see you there!
