Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting an Open Day to showcase Gaia’s In-Vessel Rapid Composting systems, the manufacturing facility, and the Gaia bio-lab.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with local Victorian councils and organisations, with representatives from 10 different councils joining us to learn more about our FOGO (Food Organics Garden Organics) processing services.
The event created valuable conversations around:
– The critical role of community education in the FOGO process
– The importance of reducing contamination in organic waste streams
Our In-Vessel Rapid Composting system is designed to:
– Accelerate composting while minimising odours, leachate, and pests
– Prevent greenhouse gas emissions
– Regulate aeration and temperature to eliminate pathogens and weed seeds
Gaia’s service model delivers composting infrastructure directly to council facilities, with no capital cost to the client. We provide the systems, making sustainable waste management simple and accessible.
A thank you to the team at Hepburn Shire Council for your warm hospitality and for sharing your positive experience partnering with Gaia.
