Gaia EnviroTech is pleased to announce the appointment of Rod Tuttle as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer. Rod joins the team with a wealth of experience from his previous role as General Manager at Closed Loop, a circular economy solutions provider for the food service industry, specialising in commercial composters for organisations such as restaurants, universities, as well as resorts.

In addition to his time at Closed Loop, Rod has a strong background in the engineering sector, with experience across both design and commercial management. His career has equipped him with a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership, which will be invaluable in driving Gaia’s continued growth.

Rod was drawn to Gaia because of the company’s leadership in Australia’s composting and anaerobic digestion solutions. “What excites me about Gaia is their comprehensive approach to sustainability. They offer a complete end-to-end solution, from design to project delivery, which aligns perfectly with my passion for innovative, practical environmental solutions,” Rod shared.

Michael Renehan, CEO of Gaia EnviroTech, expressed his enthusiasm about Rod’s appointment: “Rod’s extensive background in sustainability and circular economy practices makes him a perfect fit for our team. His leadership will be pivotal as we continue to expand our impact in the organic waste management industry.”
