Gaia selected to present plans for Regional Composting at AORA Conference 2025

Apr 11, 2025 | Events

Gaia’s Technical Director, Sandy Gray will be presenting at the AORA Conference 2025 on the topic of organics processing for regional communities. He will be supported by General Manager – Operations, Rod Tuttle, in his presentation.

The focus of the presentation will be on the tangible benefits smaller scale composting facilities bring to regional communities. These facilities, which can handle as little as 2,000 tonnes per year and up to 30,000 tonnes per year or more, are designed to be located closer to the communities they serve. This proximity fosters cooperative relationships and promotes a beneficial understanding of organics recycling and composting.

The presentation will take place on Thursday June 5 during the ‘Transformative Partnerships’ session at 12:10pm.
